The Most Unexpected Things Schools Order in June

See what unique things schools ordered and added to their leaning collection in June of 2025 while they were gearing up for the next school year.

3Doodler Start Eco-Plastic – Asst 6in 250Pk Bag Primary Pow!

Schools re-upped on their 3Doodler plastics. 3Doodler Start plastics are low-heat, BPA-Free and Non-Toxic so they completely safe for kids and are compatible with 3Doodler Start Pen to allow safe learning environments. 3Doodler made plastics extrude up to 6 times the original length, giving over 35 inches of doodling from one strand.

Makedo JOURNAL

Learning was expanded with Makedo’s journal. With the addition of a design journal, students are inspired to get creative, plan, and reflect on their lessons. Using a design journal, students are shown  how engineers, architects, and designers of all kinds visualize their creations so they can begin to do the same with Makedo, strengthening their understanding of STEAM concepts.

Makey Makey Code-a-Key Backpack

Schools also ordered an expansion to the Makey Makey Classic. By attaching the Cod-a-Key Backpack, classrooms have integrated the BBC micro:bit into Makey Makey projects. Within the last year, a variety of classrooms have learned how to program with micro:bit with motion, light, temperature, and more.

Wonder Workshop Ball Launcher

Schools transformed their Dash robot into a projectile-launching machine! Classrooms expanded STEAM play and learning last June by trying out challenges using a launcher in space battles, basketball, and more. With levels from easy to advance, schools added a fun expansion to learning code.
